Background

The solute carrier family 27 (fatty acid transporter), member 6 (SLC27A6) is a member of the fatty acid transport protein family (FATP), which are involved in the uptake of long-chain fatty acids. SLC27A6 is principally expressed in the heart on the sarcolemma and colocalizes with CD36, another molecule involved in the uptake of long chain fatty acids.

Conjugated Peptide
Anti-SLC27A6 antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a 16 amino acid peptide near the N-terminus of human SLC27A6.
Anti-SLC27A6 Antibody was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. SLC27A6 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with other SLC27 protein family members.

Application Details

ELISA, IF, IHC, WB
Anti-SLC27A6 Antibody has been tested for use in ELISA, Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry, and Immunofluorescence. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band at approximately 70 kDa in Western Blots of specific cell lysates and tissues.
