Anti-DRGX antibody was prepared from chicken egg fractions produced by repeated immunizations with a 19 amino acid synthetic peptide near the C-terminus of human DRGX.
Anti-DRGX Antibody is an IgY fraction that has been affinity purified by immunoaffinity purification. At least two are known to exist; DRGX antibody is predicted to not cross-react with other Homeodomain proteins.

Anti-DRGX Antibody has been tested for use in ELISA, Western Blotting and Immunofluorescence. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band at approximately 28 kDa in Western Blots of specific cell lysates and tissues.

Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.

DRGX, also known as DRG11 or PRRXL1, is a paired homeodomain transcription factor, and was initially cloned from a differential hybridization screen aimed at identifying dorsal root ganglia (DRG)-specific genes. DRGX is a key regulator of the differentiation of the spinal cord neuronal circuit dedicated to the processing of nociceptive information. DRGX is also important for the formation of the whisker-related somatosensory maps in the principal sensory nucleus of the trigeminal nerve, thalamus and somatosensory cortex.
