Application Details

TPX2 Protein is stored in 50mM sodium phosphate, pH 7.0, 300mM NaCl, 150mM imidazole, 0.1mM PMSF, 0.25mM DTT, 25% glycerol. TX2 Protein is suitable for use in Western Blot and Kinase Assay. Expect a band approximately ~110kDa on specific lysates or tissues. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

Formulation

Shipping & Handling

Dry Ice
Store product at –70°C. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Expiration date is one (1) year from date of receipt.
TPX2 is a nuclear proliferation-associated protein whose expression is restricted to cell cycle phases S, G2, and M (1). It mainly expressed in the lung carcinoma cell lines and also found in adult placenta, skeletal muscle, thymus, testis, and small intestine and in fetal brain, liver, and kidney.TPX2 is required for targeting STK6 to the spindle apparatus, and that STK6 may regulate the function of TPX2 during spindle assembly. TPX2 functions mainly in mitotic spindle assembly and likely contributes to its role in chromosome stability control and tumor suppression (2). TPX2 Protein is ideal for investigators involved in Signaling Proteins, Microtubule/Actin Associated Proteins, Apoptosis/Autophagy, Cancer, Cell Cycle, Invasion/Metastasis, and Neurobiology research.
