Product Details

PDE6C recombinant protein-GST fusion protein - 009-001-S84S
PDEA2,PDE6C phosphodiesterase 6C
Human
Sf9 cells
Recombinant Protein

Target Details

PDE6C
Recombinant full-length human PDE6C was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-Terminal Glutathione-S-Transferase fusion protein. The purity was determined to be >75% by densitometry.

Application Details

PDE6C Protein is stored in 50mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 50mM NaCl, 10mM glutathione, 0.1mM EDTA, 0.25mM DTT, 0.1mM PMSF, 25% glycerol. PDE6C Protein is suitable for use in Western Blot. Expect a band approximately ~125kDa on specific lysates or tissues. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

Formulation

0.1 µg/µL
See application note.

Shipping & Handling

Dry Ice
Store product at –70°C. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Expiration date is one (1) year from date of receipt.
PDE6C or phosphodiesterase 6C, cGMP-specific, cone, alpha prime encodes the alpha-prime subunit of cone phosphodiesterase, which is composed of a homodimer of two alpha-prime subunits and 3 smaller proteins of 11, 13, and 15 kDa. PDE6C protein consists of 22 exons spanning approximately 48 kb of genomic DNA. The intron-exon structure of human PDE6C is very similar to that of rod PDE6B (1). A homologous genetic basis of the murine cpfl1 mutant and human achromatopsia linked to mutations in the PDE6C gene and mutations in PDE6C are associated with cone dystrophy type 4 (COD4) (2). PDE6C Protein is ideal to investigators involved in Signaling Proteins, Cellular Proteins, Cardiovascular Disease, and Inflammation research.
