Background

NFkB is a pleiotropic transcription factor present in most cell types and is the endpoint of a series of signal transduction events related to many biological processes such as inflammation, immunity, differentiation, cell growth, tumorgenesis and apoptosis. NFkB is contained in the cytoplasm inactively until it is released by a phosphorylated I-kappa-B, allowing the NFkB to translocate to the nucleus. This antibody is ideal for investigators interested in Metabolism, Cancer, Cardiovascular, Microbiology, Epigenetics and Nuclear Signaling, Immunology, Neuroscience, or Cell Biology research.

Purity/Specificity: Anti-NFkB [ac Lys 310] Antibody was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with mouse and human based on 100% sequence homology. Cross-reactivity with NFkB K310 ac from other sources has not been determined.

Application Note: Anti-NFkB [ac Lys 310] Antibody has been tested in ELISA. Anti-NFkB K310ac is useful for in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately ~65kDa corresponding to the appropriate cell lysate or extract.
