Background

Anti-NFATc1 Antibody detect human NFATc1. NFAT (nuclear factor of activated T cell) transcription factors play critical roles in gene transcription during immune responses. The NFAT complex is made up of NFATc (NFATc1 - 4) and AP-1 transcription factor. NFAT proteins are regulated by Ca2+. NFATc1 is a substrate protein phosphatase calcineurin, a critical mediator of calcium signals during Tcell activation. NFATc1 activation requires the translocation of the transcription factor into the nucleus, a process that is mediated by calcineurin. Anti-NFATc1 Antibody is ideal for investigators involved in kinase and phosphatase research.

Human, Mouse
Conjugated Peptide
NFATc1 Antibody was produced from whole rabbit serum prepared by repeated immunizations with human NFATc1 at internal amino acids.
Anti-NFATc1 Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Anti-NFATc1 from human and mouse based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with Anti-NFATc1 from other sources has not been determined.

Application Details

IF, WB
Anti-NFATc1 Antibody is tested for WB and ICC/IF. Expect a band approximately 90-110kDa on specific lysates. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.
