KvBeta1.1 K+ channel Antibody was produced in mice by repeated immunizations raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to a unique N-terminus region of rat Kvβ1.1.
Anti-KvBeta1.1 K+ channel Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with KvBeta1.1 K+ channel from mouse, human, and rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Does not cross react with KVbeta1.2, 1.3 or 2. Cross-reactivity with KvBeta1.1 K+ channel from other sources has not been determined. Ion Channels research.

Anti-KvBeta1.1 K+ channel Antibody is tested for use in WB, IP, and IHC. Expect a band approximately ~44kDa on specific lysates. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.

Depolarization-activated potassium channels (Kv) play a major role in shaping the electrical signals in the nervous system. KvBeta1.1 is expressed abundantly in rat brain, and is known to induce inactivation of the delayed rectifier channel Kv1.1 and Kv1.4Delta1-110.
