Anti-DTX4 antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a 19 amino acid peptide near the internal region of human DTX4.
Anti-DTX4 antibody was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. DTX4 antibody is human and mouse reactive. At least two isoforms of DTX4 are known to exist; this antibody will detect both isoforms. DTX4 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with other DTX protein family members.

Anti-DTX4 Antibody has been tested for use in ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and Western Blotting. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band at approximately 67 kDa in Western Blots of specific cell lysates and tissues.

Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Expiration date is one (1) year from date of receipt.
The Deltex 4 E3 ubiquitin ligase (DTX4) is a member of a protein family that is involved in Notch signaling and neurogenesis (1). Recent studies have shown that DTX4 is also associated with the innate immune response (2). Following the activation of type I interferon signaling, the Nod-like receptor protein 4 (NLRP4) recruits DTX4 for Lys48-linked polyubiquitination and degradation of the kinase TBK1 (NAK), thereby maintaining immune homeostasis during antiviral innate immunity (2).
