Background

Most prestained protein MW markers used in PAGE contain fragments that are labelled with a blue dye. This HRP antibody specifically reacts with this blue dye, enabling direct visualization of the different marker fragments on the Chemiluminescence blot. This not only makes the positioning on the blot significantly more easy and accurate, but also allows in a reduction of the amount of marker needed by 5 - 10 times.

Anti-Blue Molecular Weight Ladder Antibody was produced in mice by repeated immunizations with the blue color used in many prestained MW markers.
Anti-Blue Ladder MW Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. Cross-reactivity with Blue MW Ladder from other sources has not been determined. It does not react with human, mouse, rat, chicken, hamster, monkey, yeast and E. coli proteins.

Anti-Blue Ladder MW Antibody Peroxidase Conjugated is tested by SDS and western blot. Anti-Blue Ladder MW HRP Antibody is designed for Western Blots specifically, and will detect the Molecular Weight Ladder. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.
