Mouse and Rabbit IgG Specific Alkaline Phosphate Steptavidin-Biotin Complex Immunohistochemistry Detection Kit is a streptavidin-biotin immuno-enzymatic antigen detection system. This system involves the sequential incubation of the sample with an unconjugated primary antibody specific to the target antigen, a biotinylated secondary antibody that reacts with the primary antibody, enzyme-labeled streptavidin, and chromogen substrate. This kit includes reagents specifically designed for the use in the analysis of antigens in IHC and other immunodetection assays. The provided protocol includes steps for immunohistochemical analysis with low background using 5% BSA blocking reagent, biotinylated secondary antibody, an enzyme-labeled streptavadin, and a chromogenic agent.
