D-type cyclins (cyclins D1, D2, and D3) are regarded as essential links between cell environment and the core cell cycle machinery. CyclinD1(CCND1), also known as BCL1. Expression of cyclin D1, but not of cyclins A and E, was induced by transfection of the RB gene into RB-deficient tumor cells. CCND1 gene to 11q13. cyclin D1 gene can function as an oncogene. Cyclin D1 expression is regulated by the retinoblastoma protein. This antibody is suitable for researchers interested in cancer research, autoimmune disease, neurodegenerative disease, MAP Kinase Signaling, AKT Signaling, Inflammatory Signaling, and Cell Cycle research.

Recombinant Protein
Cyclin D1 antibody was produced in mice by repeated immunizations with a recombinant protein corresponding to human cyclin D1 protein.
Anti-Cyclin D1 antibody was purified from mouse ascites by protein A chromatography.  This product reacts with human, mouse, and rat. Cross reactivity with Cyclin D1 from other sources has not been determined.

Application Details

Anti-Cyclin D1 is useful for Immunohistochemistry -F, -P, Immunocytochemistry, and Western Blot. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately ~33.7 kDa corresponding to the appropriate cell lysate or extract.
